Hawaiian-born Takaezu is undoubtedly one of the best modern ceramic artists alive, having taught at The Cleveland Institute of Art, Princeton University, etc… good places. Her work invokes a humility from deep within the human spirit, that demands our deepest attention and silence. And best of all, she lives in New Jersey! Breathe in and enjoy.
